The band, no strangers to highly stylized music videos, employed the help of their friend Vern Moen to direct. “We have always been really involved in the video making process,” frontman Nathan Willet tells Spinner. “To create a story that is relevant to the song and yet builds something independent of the song is so tricky.”

For ‘Audience,’ the bandmates and their respective girlfriends spent time lounging by the Pacific Ocean, adding a cinematic quality to the video. “It’s theatrical — sort of Cassavates style,” Willet notes. “The ‘Audience’ video is superior to any other video done by a sweet rock band in some time.”

Hey you gUuuuuUUuys. Whatsep. I’m tired. It’s 5:23pm, so that’s not right… Time to musk up.

Miami was cool. I got a little color, the show was fun, I ended up falling asleep before all the adult fun was to be had. But regardless, a good ol’ time.

The last few days I have been at Bamboozle seeing Cobra starship and the meddafecken GEDDUPKEDZ. It was great. Bamboozle is a dirty-ass festival, straight up. Kids were all sitting in puddles and shit. Nasty.

I got the chance to cameo in Cobra Starship’s new music video, “I make good girls go bad”. We’ll see if I make the final cut. Either way, shaaawing.

Since then I’ve been tattooing grapefruits and arranging some music! It’s been goooood. I’m just so damn tired…

Jack was here yesterday, on Cobra’s day off. Him and I are working on a little thing that is important to most all of you, I thikn/hope/really hope.
